Dr. Singh joined the Board of Benares Hotels Limited in January 2001. He holds a degree of B.Com (Hons.) in Company Law. Dr. Singh is a hospitality industry veteran with an experience of over two decades.
Mr. Miyajiwala joined the Board of Benares Hotels Limited as an Independent Director on January 24, 2017. He is currently serving his second term as an Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Miyajiwala was the former Executive Vice President Finance at Voltas till June 2011. Post his retirement he has been an advisor at Voltas. Mr. Moiz Miyajiwala worked with Voltas for close to 31 years. Prior to this, he worked with Dara Sorabji and Mackinnon Mackenzie & Company in the finance department. Mr. Miyajiwala holds BGL (General Law) degree from K.C. College, Mumbai and BA (Economics) and Statistics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
Mr. Raman joined the Board of Benares Hotels Limited as an Independent Director on September 17, 2018. He is currently serving his second term as an Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Raman holds Post Graduate in Business Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Bachelor of Science (Physics Hons.) degree from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. He is an expert in specific function areas viz. International Carpet business, Financial and project consultancy; and strategic & Corporate planning besides being actively associated with various trusts and educational institutions in Varanasi.
Ms. Belani joined the Board of Benares Hotels Limited as an Independent Director on January 14, 2025 and currently serving her first term as an Independent Director of the Company. Ms. Belani is a professional Board Director, Entrepreneur, Business Leader and a well-known personality in the field of HR with more than 35 years of experience. She has won multiple awards - Most Influential HR Leader Award in 2017, and Woman Super Achiever Award in 2008. Ms. Belani holds Master’s Degree in Business Administration in HR from XLRI Jamshedpur and Economics Hons. Degree from Miranda House, Delhi University.
Mr. Khosla joined the Board of Benares Hotels Limited in May 2015. Mr. Khosla is a Post Graduate from Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai and has been felicitated with numerous industry Awards including the Young Hotel General Manager in 2006 by the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), General Manager of the Year in 2006 by ITM Institute of Hotel Management & DNA and International Achiever of the Year award by PATWA at ITB Berlin, Germany in 2019.
He is the member of the Executive Committee of the Hotel Association of India (HAI) and SKAL, Chairman of Tata Network Forum – North, member of the CII National Committee and WTTCII and served as the past Chairman CII Northern Tourism Regional Committee.
